Scarves and Spikes is an independent soccer media outlet based in Atlanta, Georgia, providing daily news coverage, match analysis, and commentary on Atlanta United FC, Major League Soccer, and the global game.

Founded in 2023, Scarves and Spikes has grown from a fan-driven podcast into a fully credentialed news publication with press access at the highest levels of the sport. Our team holds media credentials through Atlanta United, Major League Soccer, and U.S. Soccer/FIFA, covering matches and events at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Training Ground, and stadiums across the country.

Our credentialed coverage has included MLS Cup 2023, Copa Amรฉrica, the SheBelieves Cup, the Premier League Summer Series, and regular-season matches both home and away across MLS.

Tyler is a co-founder of Scarves and Spikes and serves as an editor and writer covering Atlanta United and MLS. He provides match coverage, news reporting, and analysis, and has covered events including MLS Cup 2023, Copa Amรฉrica, and Atlanta United matches at stadiums across the league as credentialed media.

Sydney Hunte – Co-Founder, Editor & Writer

Sydney is a co-founder of Scarves and Spikes and serves as an editor and writer. He covers Atlanta United, MLS, and the broader soccer landscape, contributing news reporting, features, and match analysis.

Tommy Moos – Co-Founder & Podcast Host

Tommy is a co-founder of Scarves and Spikes and the lead host of the Scarves and Spikes podcast. He has covered Atlanta United as credentialed media at events including MLS Cup 2023.

Henry Higuita – Writer, Editor & Social Media
