The Sideline Soapbox

Welcome to the Scarves and Spikes “Sideline Soapbox,” a space where you as fans can submit your own opinion articles about Atlanta United, MLS, U.S. Soccer, and local footy! You can type up your piece and paste it in the form below, and the SnS staff can then perform the magic on our side and publish it. The pieces will show in their own section at the bottom of the Scarves and Spikes homepage, and the entire list will live on here. We’ve always prided ourselves on being a place for fans to contribute their opinions, and this is yet another medium for y’all to do so. As far as formatting, just keep it simple with multiple paragraphs (and let us know if you have any special requests we can try and implement) and we’ll do the rest!

Obviously, keep in mind the opinions expressed in these aren’t necessarily those of Scarves and Spikes (though maybe some are), and submitting a piece doesn’t necessarily guarantee it’ll be published. But just keep it PG: no trolling, flaming, excessive cursing, or otherwise meanie content and there shouldn’t be a problem. Thank you so much for taking the time to give your thoughts!

Submit your opinion piece!
