Scarves and Spikes strives to provide the best Atlanta United (and U.S./world soccer) coverage on the Web. We do that primarily in two ways:
Audio and video content. We host a live YouTube show every Wednesday at 7 p.m. ET (Tuesdays if Atlanta United have a match on Wednesday) and upload that as a podcast later that evening/early the next morning. YouTube is also the home of our recorded video content — player ratings shows, interviews with MLS insiders and content creators, and more. We also host a live X Spaces show after every Atlanta United match.
Written content. We’re a 100% independent, credentialed media outlet that covers every home Atlanta United match from Mercedes-Benz Stadium and away matches remotely. We’re at the training ground, in the locker room, and in the press conferences. You’ve probably noticed already that we pride ourselves on having fun, but we’re serious about giving you, the fan, the coverage you want and need.
That said, none of this is free! There are different costs involved in what we do — our website, our streaming platform, and other things we’re planning that will greatly enhance our coverage. On top of that, none of our writers are financially compensated for their work, and we’d love to change that.
