Atlanta United couldn’t leave Citi Field with a win, but a 1-1 draw at NYCFC is probably better than nothing. That said, matches like this have to result in three points sooner rather than later. Jamal Thiaré, for his part, continued his run of form with a third goal in two matches (from a Brad Guzan assist) that helped salvage a result. But he left injured as it later was revealed that he and Derrick Williams will miss two to four weeks for various injuries (left hamstring and left calf, respectively).

I was extremely harsh on Wolff because not only did he have the giveaway that led to the goal, but I felt he was extremely wasteful in the final third, and a large reason why we underperformed our expected goals (imo). I can live with the mistake if he gets a goal or assist. Or, I can live with an imperfect game in the final third. But not both.
Its a shame because I thought he was really tidy on the ball in the middle third of the field.
Me too. You can’t make that pass and it was a really bad mistake. Especially missing the players we were it magnifies mistakes and makes them that much harder to overcome.
