June will be a busy month for some of Atlanta United’s top prospects, with at least six academy products called up to several United States Youth National Team camps.

Noah Cobb and Luke Brennan return to the US U-20s for an international training camp in Cairo, Egypt, from June 2nd to June 10th. The US will face Colombia on June 7th and Egypt on June 10th. Cobb and Brennan have become regular inclusions in the roster as the US prepares for the U-20 World Cup in Chile this Fall. The US was drawn into Group E of the tournament with France, South Africa, and New Caledonia.

The US U-19s will be led by fan favorite Rob Valentino against Spain and Ukraine in Marbella, Spain. Former academy player Bryce Jameson is the only player with Atlanta United ties on this roster.

Dominick Chong Qui and Kaiden Moore return to the US U-18s alongside their academy and 2s teammate Braden Dunham, who has rightfully earned a call-up thanks to his impressive recent form in MLS NEXT Pro. They will compete in the UEFA Friendship Cup in Switzerland from May 30th to June 11th. The US was drawn into Group A against France, Australia, and Argentina. If the US advances, they will face the winners of Group B (Japan, Portugal, Senegal, and Uruguay). Atlanta United 2 forward Santiago Pita also joined the U-18s to replace Ervin Torres Jr. and Daniel Pinter, who were late withdrawals from the roster.

Cooper Sanchez also returned to the US Youth National Team system with the U-17s, where he will play alongside Philadelphia’s Cavan Sullivan against Sweden (June 5), Canada (June 7), and Japan (June 10) in Valencia, Spain.

Jonathan Ransom will represent Canada as part of their U-17 team in Albir, Spain. They will face Japan and the United States in preparation for the FIFA U-17 World Cup in Qatar this November.

We are still waiting to see which players may have been called up by other national federations for youth camps and the CONCACAF Gold Cup. Ajani Fortune was named to Trinidad & Tobago’s preliminary roster for the tournament.

Congratulations to Atlanta United’s young stars as they represent their national teams.
