Emmanuel Latte Lath will miss Atlanta United’s match against Toronto FC on Sunday with a hamstring injury, the team announced on Saturday.

Latte Lath played all 90 minutes of last Saturday’s match against the Colorado Rapids. He didn’t appear to suffer injury in that one and trained in the days leading up to Sunday’s match. But a hamstring means he won’t play against TFC.

Atlanta’s injury report didn’t include Jamal Thiaré, who missed the last two matches with a calf injury. Cayman Togashi should also be available for selection if Ronny Deila doesn’t feel Thiaré isn’t match fit yet.

There’s also good news regarding Pedro Amador, who should return to the lineup against TFC. Amador hasn’t played since Atlanta’s Leagues Cup game against Necaxa due to a hamstring injury.

Outside of Jay Fortune’s foot injury and Latte Lath’s hamstring, Atlanta’s only other injury is Matt Edwards, who remains out of the lineup as he recovers from a hamstring injury of his own.

Very rarely do you feel ok when your $22M man is sidelined but in this case, it doesn’t really bother me. Thiare has been more in form lately than LL and Cayman should hopefully get a nod as he should.

Switch things up, can’t hurt.

Clueless Joe

I think ELL had 4 goals in his first 5 games. He’s been in the Witness Protection Program since. Hope he figures something out in the off season.

Oh no , how we hope to replace his production ? Start Miggy there , Alexei as ten , and Saba and Brennan on the wings

CelticBhoy

This!

Matt5931

Start Miggy at striker? The guy who has been the opposite of clinical with his shots all season? No thank you

Mic

ELL not playing. And we will not notice.

ShortRound_RB

I’m cheering for Lath, but unfortunately, there’s a not insignificant chance we will notice, for the better.
