The Scarves and Spikes match reaction show is back, and unfortunately, it’s a 2-0 loss that Sydney and Tyler had to look back on. That said, Cooper Sanchez looked good after being handed the start, while Elías Báez, Tomás Jacob, and Lucas Hoyos showed well in their respective debuts.
Unfortunately for the attack…it wasn’t as great. The guys dove into that, talked about why Hoyos shouldn’t be held at fault for either of Cincinnati’s goals, while reminding themselves that it’s the first of 34 matches and that there were at least some signs of positive progress throughout the evening. They also discuss the reports of Atlanta United’s pursuit of Grêmio midfielder Franco Cristaldo and what it means for the club’s reported verbal agreement with Matías Galarza Fonda.
