Atlanta United at San Jose Earthquakes: Match Reaction Show

It has to get better, right?

Sydney and Tommy have the latest Scarves and Spikes match reaction show, looking back at a 2-0 loss to the San Jose Earthquakes that felt like a massive step back. The home opener is on March 7 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium against Real Salt Lake — can Atlanta get into the win column and keep this slow start from continuing for at least another week? They’ll also talk about the continuing underperformance of the Designated Players as that’s now two matches in a row without a goal.

This team has no heart. 3 DP’s playing so poorly. ELL has almost no effort in his play. Miggy is passing miserably (when he does pass). I can give Alexi somewhat of an injury pass but still poor decision making on his part. The upper management has failed with all three of these players.
