Atlanta City FC will celebrate its brand launch during an event at the Westin Peachtree Plaza’s Southern Exchange Ballrooms on October 4.
During the groundbreaking of the club’s new training ground in Marietta in April, Arthur Blank originally gave a timeline for the name and brand to be unveiled in the fall, adding not to “assume anything” about its interim branding of red, gold, black, and white.
“We’re making good process. And I think you’ll like what we’ve come up with,” Blank said.
Josh Blank added that AMB Sports and Entertainment sent a series of surveys to Founding Members and others in the Mercedes-Benz Stadium database to gauge possible branding ideas. It also leaned on influencers across the Atlanta community.
“We also looked at a lot of the icons in the city, a lot of the key landmarks to ensure that they were represented and came through with the visual identity of the team,” he said.
That’s resulted in Atlanta City FC, which unveiled its name and brand identity on September 28. Bookmark our Atlanta City FC hub for the latest news ahead of its 2028 launch.
