The pressing question on everybody’s mind was answered last night: Atlanta United is at least NOT the absolute worst team in the Eastern Conference. Breathe a sigh of relief, y’all.
The Five Stripes ran all over a toothless CF Montreal side and even scored three goals in the process of their most dominant win all season in a 3-0 result at Stade Saputo. It sure felt like the frustration from last weekend’s loss at home against Cincinnati was let out upon bottom dwelling Montreal, putting six points of cushion between Atlanta and last place.
