Atlanta United — and Major League Soccer — released the 2027 Sprint Season schedule on Thursday. As previously announced, Atlanta will play all 14 Eastern Conference teams, seven home and seven away.
Atlanta United’s opening match will be February 20 against Toronto FC at 7 p.m. ET. A week later, Atlanta will host Lionel Messi and Inter Miami in a 6 p.m. kickoff on February 27. Charlotte FC (March 20), New York City FC (March 31), Orlando City (April 10), FC Cincinnati (April 17), and the Philadelphia Union (May 8 — Decision Day) also make up the home slate.
Atlanta’s first away match will be March 7 at Red Bull New York, the first of three away from Mercedes-Benz Stadium. After RBNY, Atlanta heads to Nashville SC on March 13 before a trip to the Columbuw Crew on March 17. The other road matches are against the Chicago Fire (March 27), CF Montréal (April 3), the New England Revolution (April 21), and D.C. United (May 1).
Unlike previous years, the top eight (not nine) teams in each conference will qualify for the MLS Cup Playoffs, which will be single-elimination. MLS Cup is scheduled for Memorial Day Weekend.
