Happy New Year! 2024 is upon us, and so are a flurry of transfer rumors all around MLS. Atlanta United, however, is the beneficiary of quite a few, and Tyler and Tommy sat down to discuss each and every one on the most recent Scarves and Spikes episode.
One of the most notable transitions of the early year was the news that Miles Robinson, Atlanta United stalwart defender and USMNT mainstay, has moved northward to F.C. Cincinnati. The move has been talked about for weeks but was made official by both teams recently, marking the next chapter for Robinson, who Atlanta plucked from the SuperDraft back in 2017.
The guys also chatted about the potential transfers or arrivals of Stian Gregersen, Bartosz Slisz, Derrick Williams, and others. Finally, Tyler took a few minutes to share some info about the upcoming Atlanta Soccer Tonight Top Golf fundraiser and Go Fund Me to raise money for the new mini-pitch set to be installed at Alexander Park in McDonough, metro-Atlanta.
