I do love that commenting is much easier here than on Dirty South. Every time I tried typing a comment on Dirty South, it would jump whenever a pop up box loaded. Took forever to write a comment. This seems much more stable.
Looks like you have to make sure you stay logged in on WordPress to get your username to show.
anyway to stop having WordPress sending a confirmation link to your email every time you post?
Hey Gus! You can turn off certain notifications in “notification settings” under “My Profile.”
Just check the boxes for the notifications you want to receive and you should be good!
I’ll look under notifications and see what my options are. I thought they were turned off but I may have missed one.

If you click the tab that says “Reader” at the top left it brings you to a feed of articles from blogs you are subscribed to. There it shows number of comments and has the comment box at the top even when you click the article to read it. The format is a little more like the DSS feed from there, at least in how the comments look and feel.
I am going to miss being able to skip to comments I haven’t read already though

Thats my personal preference (and admittedly, the most familiar relative to DSS), but I trust the groups judgement.
It would be great to have the option to sort newest, oldest. When I come in late, I like to start with oldest and catch up. If I’m there from the beginning, I like newest up top.

They will, it’ll just be a matter of time with all the new traffic for them to update on Google and everywhere else!
