Atlanta United’s 2024 Leagues Cup started off on the wrong foot on Friday. Despite the Five Stripes falling behind 3-1 in the first half behind a Jared Stroud brace, they battled back with goals from Saba Lobjanidze and Daniel Rios to force penalties โ but fell in a shootout. Notably, Bartek Slisz was called upon to take a penalty in normal time and in the shootout, but missed both attempts.
Sydney and Tyler covered the match and looked at how other MLS teams are doing in the tournament. Tune in!
