Atlanta United claimed a shock result on Saturday night, beating Nashville SC 1-0 at Geodis Park behind a rare Ronald Hernandez goal and Steven Alzate’s first MLS assist on his first start with the club. Not only did the Five Stripes pick up a first MLS win since late May, but they won on the road for the first time since their Game 3 win against Inter Miami in the 2024 MLS Cup Playoffs.
Oh, and Jayden Hibbert kept his second clean sheet as he looks to make a case for himself to be Atlanta’s No. 1 goalkeeper in 2026.
