Brad Guzan will be getting used to a new lifestyle in 2026, his first year as a retired soccer player. Part of that is getting more deeply involved in one of his other passions: golf.
Guzan has been named a limited partner in the Arthur Blank-owned Atlanta Drive GC, part of the TGL golf league that kicked off its second season just before the new year. TGL is a tech-infused golf league co-founded by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy that hosts matches at a 1,500-seat arena in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
In a statement, Guzan mentioned that he “had a blast” watching Atlanta Drive GC with his children during the league’s inaugural season.
“I’m thrilled to join Arthur Blank and this outstanding group of limited partners as we continue to build this fanbase and compete to bring more championships back to our great city,” Guzan said.
Atlanta Drive GC, whose roster is made up of Patrick Cantlay, Billy Horschel, Lucas Glover, and Justin Thomas, is the defending TGL champion: it won the first-ever SoFi Cup in 2025. And it started off Season 2 on the right foot by New York Golf Club on December 28.
