Another match, another win for Atlanta United. In their first trip to the Twin Cities since 2018, they defeated Minnesota United 2-1 on Wednesday to make it back-to-back wins for the first time since spring.

Coming back after digesting it, our offense is still not great – they’re still not producing goals, though they’ve produced a few chances. I think the midfield however has been markedly better, with many incisive passes forward including into the center, which was not happening often before, and 8s (Fortune, now Muyumba) now participating in chance creation. Gill is also helping in creating some calmness in that space as the 6 both on defense and offense.
I guess what I’m trying to say is, I’m definitely glad that they’re playing better, but there’s still room to grow, including getting a dependable striker. Getting our goals from someone other than our CMs or our FBs would be good.
I starting to become a proud fan but you never know with Atlanta united
Special shout out to Miranchuk for all the defensive work he did.
