Our Complete World Cup 2026 Atlanta Guide is Live

The World Cup draw is happening today, and we figured there was no better time to launch something we’ve been working on for a while! Say hello to Atlanta2026WorldCup.com!

We put together a complete visitor’s guide for World Cup 2026 in Atlanta. Whether you’re flying in from another country or driving in from Tennessee, Florida, or elsewhere, we want to make sure you have everything you need to make your trip to Mercedes-Benz Stadium as smooth as possible.

Without further ado, here’s what we’ve got ready for you:

Our MARTA Guide breaks down exactly how to get from the airport to downtown and to the stadium without dealing with Atlanta traffic or parking shenanigans. We covered where to stay with options at every price point, from the hotels connected to the stadium to more budget-friendly spots along the train line.

For food and drink, we put together guides for the best bars near the stadium and where to eat before and after matches. We’ve also got a rundown of things to do in Atlanta beyond the games, info on fan zones and watch parties, and a look at the Atlanta soccer scene so you understand why this city goes harder for the sport than anywhere else in the country.

And yes, we’ve got a ticket guide covering official sales, pricing expectations, and how to avoid getting scammed.

Sydney is also running a live blog for the World Cup draw today with updates and analysis as the groups are revealed, so follow along to see which teams are headed to Atlanta.

Once the draw wraps up and we know which teams are playing in Atlanta, we’ll be adding a lot more content. Expect guides tailored to specific fan bases, more restaurant and bar recommendations, and coverage leading all the way up to kickoff in June 2026.

Bookmark the hub page and check back often, and share it with your friends! This is going to be a massive year for Atlanta soccer and we plan to cover every bit of it, because this city and fanbase deserves to have one phenomenal, once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Great guide that will hopefully help visitors. I would also recommend including info in maybe the MARTA section or things to do about Station Soccer and the other fields that have been built in town.
