It’s no secret that securing tickets to see any of the 2026 FIFA World Cup matches in person are, well… cost prohibitive, to put it lightly.
It may be difficult to find your way into Merced- I mean Atlanta Stadium, but the once in a generation experience of a World Cup coming to your home city isn’t restricted by any means to the venue itself. There’s seemingly endless places to take in any of the 104 total matches in and around the metro Atlanta area.
From large scale outdoor festivals, to more intimate bars and pubs, to high-tech big screens: we’ve compiled a non-exhaustive list of places to catch a match near you. Feel free to chime in with any other recommendations in the comments!
Festival Vibes
FIFA Fan Festivalâ„¢ Atlanta – Centennial Olympic Park (Website)
The city’s official FIFA Fan Festivalâ„¢ will take place at Centennial Olympic Park for a select eighteen days of the tournament, including Atlanta matchdays. The 22-acre park in the heart of downtown will feature a vast music lineup featuring the likes of CeeLo Green, Ludacris, Killa Mike, EarthGang, and more, a variety of food, and of course a massive high-definition screen.
Cost: Free, registration required.
Decatur WatchFest ’26 – Decatur Square (Website)
Not to be outdone, Decatur will inaugurate the newly renovated Decatur Square with a festival spanning the entire 34 day tournament, music acts headlined by the one and only Big Boi on June 11th, and multiple outdoor big screens. Food trucks and a variety of nearby restaurants will keep visitors fueled for all the big matches.

Marietta SoccerFest ’26 – Downtown Marietta (Website)
Downtown Marietta will host a festival of its own for the opening weekend of the tournament, June 12-14th with the Watch Party on the Square. Matches shown include USA-Paraguay on June 12th, and Qatar-Switzerland, Brazil-Morocco, and Haiti-Scotland on the 13th on big screens, as well as family friendly activities.

Founder’s Green – South Downtown (Website)
In the middle of a recently transformed historic section of downtown Atlanta, the South Downtown neighborhood is up and running just in time for the World Cup. A 10 block open-container zone, with newly moved in tenants surround a parking lot turned pocket park is a prime location near Mercedes-Benz Stadium to watch matches. The park will be home to Men in Blazers’ Match Day Live! on 7/1, 7/7, and 7/15, and the area will also host the Casa España, a “meeting point” for Spanish fans and “a showcase for the culture and identity of the Spanish National Team” from June 13th to 21st.

O4W Soccer Kickoff Festival – Old Fourth Ward (Website)
The Old Fourth Ward Neighborhood Association is throwing a watch party at Historic Fourth Ward Park for the United States’ opening match against Paraguay on June 12th as the main event of the O4W Soccer Kickoff Festival. The weekend as a whole includes a bar crawl, vendors, and kids’ soccer in the park on top of the watch party with live music and multiple big screens.

Alpharetta’s World Cup Watch Party – Alpharetta (Website)
Downtown Alpharetta plans on kicking off the World Cup on Friday, June 12th with music, activities, food, giveaways, and of course showing both the Canada-Bosnia & Herzegovina and United States-Paraguay matches on the big screen at the Alpharetta Town Green.

Atlanta Beltline Fest – Pittsburgh Yards (Website)
Taking place June 20-21, the Atlanta Beltline Fest at Pittsburgh Yards will include World Cup watch parties on a Match Lawn complete with big screens, as well as multiple entertainment stages and a pickup soccer pitch. The festival will show the Netherlands-Sweden and Germany-Ivory Coast on the 20th, while the 21st brings the Spain-Saudi Arabia and Belgium-Iran matchups.

Telemundo ATL Fútbol Fest – Chamblee (Website)
Hosted by Telemundo at Assembly Studios, ATL Fútbol Fest seems to be the biggest Spanish language event in the area, taking place on June 26th and 27th. The event will show three of the tournament’s most anticipated matchups that weekend, inluding Uruguay-Spain, Panama-England, and Colombia-Portugal, with pre-match festivities as well.
Cost: Free, but tickets required.
Kick it in the Nnett – Gwinnett County (Website)
Hosted by Explore Gwinnett, Kick it in the Nnett will host four free watch party events across Gwinnett County showing some of the marquee matchups coming to Atlanta. The schedule includes the Spain-Cabo Verde match on June 15th on the big screen at Gwinnett Field, the Congo DR-Uzbekistan match on June 27th in Suwanee at Town Center on Main, Atlanta’s Round of 16 match on July 7th at Peachtree Corners Town Center, and the Atlanta hosted semifinal shown on July 15th at Lillian Webb Park in Norcross.

Fútbol on the Square – Colony Square, Midtown (Website)
Colony Square in Midtown will have live showings of a variety of matches throughout the tournament on their big screen, with plenty of on-site restaurants and an open container area. Colony Square will also host Fútbol Fest On The Square on June 14th, with live music and activities leading up to the Netherlands-Spain match at 4 PM.

A Celebration of Soccer & Sound – Piedmont Park (Website)
To close out the summer of soccer, Showcase Atlanta will be throwing a festival at Piedmont Park for the World Cup Final on July 19th. Alongside showing the Final on a big screen, the festival will last throughout the day with music, an international food village, a makers market, and interactive activities.

Atlanta United Pub Partners
Atlanta United and its Pub Partners are of course getting in on the World Cup action, showing most if not all 104 matches of this summer’s tournament. Atlanta United will host a Soccer Celebration on select days at a rotating list of locations, which can be found here. Soccer Celebrations will begin an hour before a designated match, with flags and giveaways as supplies last and first come, first serve seating. Of course, you can visit your favorite location for nearly any match you’re looking to get out and watch.
Brewhouse Cafe – Little 5 Points/South Downtown (Website)
A familiar name for soccer watchers in Atlanta, Brewhouse boasts the title of “America’s Best Soccer Bar” last year from Men in Blazers, and now has a new location in South Downtown to enjoy.
Der Biergarten – Downtown (Website)
Located conveniently close to Centennial Olympic Park, the German themed beer garden offers a European feel to take in matches from.
Fadó Irish Pub & Restauruant – Midtown/Buckhead (Website)
A mainstay with locations in both Midtown and Buckhead, Fadó brings an Irish pub experience with plenty of food and beer options.
Live! at the Battery Atlanta – The Battery (Website)
Live! at the Battery advertises watch parties for each of the eight matches hosted in Atlanta, along with five other highly anticipated matchups. More options at the Battery to watch include the Plaza Green, which will show matches through the summer on an outdoor screen.
El Tesoro – Edgewood/West End/South Downtown (Website)
Multiple locations, including a brand new one in the heart of the south Downtown development, offer places to watch the matches along with tacos, tamales, burritos, cocktails, and more. The West End location on the Beltline will host the Atlanta United’s Soccer Celebrations on June 16th, June 25th, and July 1st.
SweetWater Brewing – Midtown (Website)
SweetWater aims to bring together “local pride, craft beer culture, and the passion of the global game” across Atlanta this summer, which includes watch parties at their Taproom throughout June and July, with two being official Soccer Celebration watch parties with Atlanta United. Watch parties at the Taproom will also feature promotions, merchandise, giveaways, and fan programming.
CHIRINGA – Old Fourth Ward/Alpharetta (Website)
CHIRINGA offers a hangout spot with “elevated beach food’, ideal for summer soccer watching with locations in downtown Alpharetta and along the beltline in Old Fourth Ward. The restaurant will be part of the O4W Soccer Kickoff’s bar crawl, and will host the final Soccer Celebration event for the World Cup Final.
Park Tavern – Midtown (Website)
Located in Piedmont Park and right off the Beltline, Park Tavern promises every match shown on 20+ big screen TVs, along with food and drink specials.
High-Tech Viewing
Cosm – Centennial Yards (Website)
Want the stadium experience, but don’t want to give an arm and a leg to get in? Cosm is a brand new addition to the Centennial Yards development, boasting a “shared reality” experience inside a massive domed screen, as well as separate sports bar area with wall to wall screens. The venue will show a total of 40 matches in the immersive environment, with some matches already sold out. It’s not free, but will almost certainly be less than the ticket prices for the match itself.
