| ATL UTD 2 kicks off the 2025 season against New York Red Bulls II at home on March 7 |
Atlanta United 2 today announced its 28-match schedule for the 2025 season, featuring 14 home matches at Fifth Third Stadium in Kennesaw, Georgia. The 2025 season will run from Friday, March 7th at home against New York Red Bulls II until Decision Day at Chattanooga FC on Sunday, October 5th.

MLS NEXT Pro adjusted its scheduling and alignment in its 4th season to cut down on travel and attempt to make the season more manageable for players who now have an easier pathway to play minutes at the first-team level. The league’s 27 MLS affiliates and 2 independent teams will play 28 matches over 30 weeks. Teams are divided into Eastern and Western Conferences which are also divided into two divisions. Atlanta United 2 will compete in the Southeast Division this season against regional rivals Carolina Core FC, Chattanooga FC, Crown Legacy FC (Charlotte), Huntsville City FC (Nashville), Inter Miami CF II, and Orlando City B. The 2s will play each of their division rivals 3 times and each of their conference opponents once.
If the 2s make it to the 2025 MLS NEXT Pro Playoffs, they will experience the unique Pick-Your Opponent format that began in 2023 which allows higher-seeded teams to pick their opponents in the first two rounds. The Playoffs will include three rounds beginning on October 17th and concluding with the MLS NEXT Pro Cup on November 7th.
You can catch most of Atlanta United 2’s regular season matches and the playoffs through MLS Season Pass on the Apple TV app. The remainder of the regular season matches will air on mlsnextpro.com.
